Rear sear bottoms loose in 67

Hi, I'm looking at the rear seats in my 67 Charger and wondering why they're so loose on the front corner that has the bracket. Is it possible there was some sort of plastic grommet that fit in the floor bracket?

The car is a pretty good survivor and 95% of what it came with is present and functional. It's just weird that the rear seat bottoms are as loose as they are.

more than likely the little "L" brackets that screw to the front of the seat bottom and the floor are missing. Someone has had the seats out before

Everything was there, I ended up tweaking the wire "stays" on the seats and that helped a lot. Thanks for the image, that's pretty handy.
