Anyone running this size on the rear of their Charger ? Any pics ? I want my car to sit a bit higher at the rear and I know these are quite a tall tyre , thanks

Kern Dog

Yes.

JMF

Great thanks

Look good

I love the 70's jacked up look

JMF

Any particular backspacing needed ? I know they are not mega wide but being quite tall they might come close to the inner wheel arch, thanks

Nacho-RT74

hell, no. Sorry, I know you didn't asked but they look like a truck tire or a balloon. And sidewalls move will be increased when turning

I only have those on my car because they hold air and are wider than my other tires. I would not purposely buy this size for the car. I want a tire that corners well.

JMF

Is there a noticeable difference in the way it corners with that size compared to say a 275/60/15 ?

Nacho-RT74

well, 255/70 is around an inch higher, but sidewall is half of an inch, so I think that makes a diff on cornering... just thinking out loud

Found a pic of this Cuda with 255/70's

Looks mean

Kern Dog what are the backspacing on those wheels at the rear ? Do you think 4" backspacing would work because that's what my rear wheels are, they are 15 x 7

Thanks

Kern Dog

The rears are 15x7 but I do not know the backspacing. They are from a Chrysler Fifth Avenue car, something like an 86-88 model. I've found that most used the same size wheel for many years.
