Steel vs Aluminum Wheels?

When my charger and I were both young, I really liked the American Racing wheels, but couldn't afford them.
I have had some recommendations to get Magnum 500 wheels recently.  I like them both along with about 20 other styles.

The American Torque Thrust D (or II) are aluminum, 1580 lb Load Rating.
Some of the Magnum 500 wheels are steel but most that I have seen are made for Mustangs.

American has VN501 wheels that look like the Magnum 500 wheels but also Aluminum.

Is Aluminum acceptable for a 505 big block?

Oh no! I hope the aluminium wheels are acceptable. I will soon be dropping a 512 with my American Racing Torq Thrust rims.

No experience with the Torque thrusts. I have had Weld Drag Lites on a 68 Satellite for 25 years. 15x5 and 15x8. Street car ,440.  Hydroplaned ,spun out and hit a curb really hard and broke one of the fronts. No other problems.  Main thing with aluminum  wheels is making sure your wheel studs are long enough.

Thanks
My engine is only a 505.
