Hi guys,

I was hoping someone might be able to recommend an online place that supplies rust repair sections - in particular to suit my 71 Charger.

I'm in Australia and therefore wouldlike an online site. I just ripped off the vinyl top and would like to replace the section at the bottom of the rear windscreen if possible. Any places you can recommend is greatly appreciated.

I go to http://store.shermanparts.com/cgi-bin/sherman/product_dodge.htm sometimes, I don't think they have exactly what you are looking for but maybe helpful for other stuff.

I don't think that is a part reproduced... IMHO you need to make your own patches about that area.

I think you're right Nacho.

I've emailed a few places with no luck. Pretty ridiculous I reckon. I'm more than certain there's enough of these cars being collected/restored to warrant more sections for repair.

From where I am over here, it really does look like a case of "if it's not 2nd Gen, we don't want to know."

I'm pretty sure I've seen the rear window (dutch panel?) listed on ebay or moparts a few times recently. Keep a lookout and you'll see one eventually.

Yes... betwen 71/72 and 73/74, difference about that area is just on C pillars and quarters ( what is the same piece ) but roof, glass and trunk lid, same as speaker deck etc... are the same.

Another parts interchangeables ( what doesn't mean necesarilly the same ) are:
-Hood
-All glasses with quarter exception.
-firewall and cowl.
-Dash frame assembly
-Bumpers.
-fenders.
-Valances ( sligthly mount difference on front but easy to fit)
-grilles.
-tail lights.
-wiring, saving some differences between equipment, but basically the same.
-all floor pans, with 74 center trunk differences.
-All interior except uppers and sail panel ( except 74 lower rear )

Basically those are the parts... there is a lot more details about several parts more.

Just a heads up, I saw that the part has been re-listed at a lower price.
