wonder what it was like before being repainted  :scratchchin:  

IMO not a good idea to locate a two poster lift arms on the spot / pinch welds to lift a big ole heavy charger this way ! always use the frame  :Twocents:

Correct me if I'm wrong but that looks like the wrong voltage regulator for a 69. Was there factory electronic ignition that year?  Don't think any of that is original but I could be wrong.

your correct !  looks like its been converted to 70 & later  duel field alternator  with electronic voltage regulator ! common / normal thing to do when fitting mopar electronic ignition.
 no electronic ignition was factory fitted in the 69 model year , as far as i know

elect ignition become standard on all 73 engines, and standard on 72 HP engines
