I've been looking into "solar powered trickle chargers" on Amazon and wondering if any of you use one? I see many without controllers to prevent over charging and in Fl. that's a concern.  :scratchchin:

I had one a garden tractor battery. I stopped using because it didn't have controls so was never sure how charged the battery was.

I have had a solar charger on my little "K" car for over a few years now...car sits outside year round....has never failed to start.....the solar charger just plugs into the lighter assembly....only puts in half an amp

I've been using one for years on an older GMC truck I have and it has been great. I only use the truck every couple weeks or so but the solar charger always keeps it charged.
