I never seen any body over hype a car by saying Tri Color car over & over 10 times. I'm more impressed by the fact that it's a #'s matching 440 6 pack with 4 speed & Dana then Tri color :shruggy:

Very cool car! I am so glad I didn't sell my 70 V code Charger R/T. I hope to assemble mine and have it at Carlisle this year.

I think I looked at this very car back in the 80's in Ohio. It didn't have the different color on the fenders and door then. Regretted not buying it then. If I remember correctly it was 12G's back then.

Seems like too much at 38k and reserve still not met, probably a bunch of shill bidding going on  :shruggy:

I looked at a b5 blue 1970 v code car that spent most of its life out in Hawaii before coming to mainland several years ago. Car was in better condition and the seller was wantimg 24k iirc.

It's Ebay folks. People have more money there than common sense and get caught up in the thrill of the bid.

I have not seen any decent 70 Charger R/T V code cars in the under 30 grand in the last 7 or 8 years. This car will probably bring 40 grand. They are pretty rare, only 349 4 speed cars, and 337 automatic cars built. They were the only second generation Charger 440 Six pack cars built.

Currently at $50,000 USD with over a day left....

I am glad I kept it Troy. I am getting everything ready to assemble it for spring. I did most of the metal work last year. It will have the burnt orange interior, the 4 speed, and the Dana 60 axle in it. I have a thread on the car on FBBO,I have too much trouble trying to post pictures here. The 500 is looking great Troy!
