Dear Charger Friends,
Today is my cars 50th Birthday!  Fender tag says it was built on Aug 18, 1970.  SO.. in order to help celebrate this fine day, I cleaned up the old 1971 Charger R/T, bought 5 gallons of fresh high octane gas, and drove it to work for the first time ever.  I even had a cake made for the office join in the festivities! I know that many of you are going to think I am really weird for celebrating the birthday of an old car, but I really am OK with that.  Anyone else out there celebrate the build date of their car?  I will post a picture of the car and the cake.  Happy Mopar to everyone!

Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

Your Charger is beautiful.  Keep enjoying it for years to come.

Good effort going the extra mile to celebrate it at the Office - that old car deserves it, 50 years is a big milestone any way you slice it.

A few years ago I decoded my buddy's 69 General tribute car and was astonished to find out that the tag/build date was the day I was born, I still joke with him about "my" Car. I should really hit him up for Birthday hot laps every year  :smilielol:
I missed it's and my 50th at home last year as I was working on a ship in Miami, but did get ashore for a few Mojitos though.
