Jack McCoy Daytona nose for sale, legit piece?

Just curious if anyone knows how legit this is?  I'm not gonna buy it, but it is an interesting piece...

Real McCoy, for sure! 

That came with the Marty Robbins Daytona, when purchased.
Too bad it didn't get used on the real McCoy Daytona when it was
restored. As you can see, it's made from street parts, 70 Charger
fenders. (side markers filled in)

I agree, its legit. I talked to guy who has it currently, he is looking to sell quite a few things here pretty soon. I thought his price was a tad high for what would amount to nothing more than a wall hanger to me. Considering I don't have anything to hang it on other than a wall.

If I had that I would get some lights working and bolt it onto my car and use it as is

Would be way cool story to go with it but once it is sanded down and painted the story would not mean so much

Needs to be back with the real car.  Not sure why the current owner of the car hasn't struck a deal on it.
