Rebuilt my A833. Works great o ring started leaking on the reverse shaft. Only 700 mi. on it. Is there a better way to seal it than an o ring?

O-ring is pretty much the only way to go on a pivoting shaft like that (someone else may chime in but...   I don't see a better solution)

Did you happen to lube the O-ring when you installed the reverse pivot? if not it could have tore or gotten damaged?
