     Y3 was available  both years  !  hard to say if it was painted a correct factory color !

That is a very early build.

904 is September 4 1969

9 is ninth month
04 is fourth day

And since the car is a 70 model makes it built in 1969 as they change over the factory to the next year production in July

I know it's subjective, but I couldn't spend that much money for it after a color change.  If you wanted to change it back to F8 then you might as well just go all the way and get this instead...

From whats shown its far from perfect or even correct.
But if the minor details and / or color change don't bother you.
It might not be a bad deal for a running driving Charger in today's market

Another 70 XP without the "500" emblems, must be an early build thing, my August 5th built XP doesn't have them either.

Was pretty enticing at that price. Looked fairly clean also.
The small things never bothered me to much
