Cowl insulation installation

I am looking to install the cowl insulation (the grey stuff) and I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on how to install it.  I assume you use some type of glue but what type and how do you keep it up while drying?

If it is glued on rather than clipped on I would use contact cement. (Very long time since I installed mine)
It dries quickly after it has tacked off so you shouldn't need to hold it in place for long at all.

I think you mean firewall insulation?

He's correct Don.. cowl is the air intake area in front of the windshield. I used 3M spray contact cement soaked into the insulation and a quick spray on the underside of the cowl.

Firewall insulation is held on by plastic push pins.
