I Found an Example.  I believe it is shown Correct.
Thank You.

Now How to lube and squish it in. Going out to try now.

DONE - Easier than I thought.

K-Y Jelly is an excellent lubricant for assembling rubber parts. Silicone grease works well, too.

solvent based wax and grease remover is the best lube for rubber.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

That seal look odd - asymetrical to the original ones I have here.  Never seen the bulge on the left of the pic.  It looks a bit rough too - cracks in the groove?  that being said, the new one I had here was really stiff vs the original one out of the tank, to the point that I had gloves on and in the trunk, pushing hard and I'm not a skinny guy.  I ended up using my original.     :Twocents:
