Parking Brake has a mind of it's own

Some days my parking brake light is on, some days not. random for no known reason. Fluid is fine, brake not set. Just the ding when I start up from a stop then dings ever minute or so. Park it's and it's fine one day, next morning comes on when starting up. Double checked the fluid worked the foot brake dozen of times doesn't seem anything is wrong. Greased the cable that goes moves with the foot brake. 2006 Charger RT. thanks for any help you can send my way.

I would either scan it myself or take to to Advance Auto, O'rileys, etc, somewhere that offers free scans, see if there's a code in it. 

As Kern said,, this site is primarily for the older Chargers.
