Please ID this'72 dash part

This isn't the 1st time I've done this, take something apart, figure it will only be a few days, don't take pictures and I'm stumped 4 months later

anyway dash bracket, I think it's for the heater controls...what do you guys think?

yeap, A/C Heater control

on pic, a 73/74 which could be slightly diff because the diff heater/AC control configuration, but same idea for 71/72, and same spot on cluster housing
