Seriously NOT trying to be that guy, but this is how the colors are perceived by most in the hobby...

Dodge is Butterscotch

Plymouth is Bahama Yellow

The interesting part is that in that PIB written in 1969, Dodge called it Bahama Yellow.

6bblgt

the color stated with Porsche in 1967 "Bahama yellow" paint code 6605

it was used by SoCal Plymouth Dealer Associations early in the 1969 model year on Road Runners as "special order paint - Bahama yellow" & coded as "99" on fender tags

by mid-year it became available country-wide and included Dodges by the time A12 cars were introduced, Lynch Rd. coded it as "96" while St. Louis & Los Angeles continued to use "99"

has anyone seen any reference to it as "butterscotch" or L5/EL5 prior to the '71 model year?

Birdflu

The A12 registry acknowledges it in their list of production codes...
