Manifold vacuum all the same ?

I am installing a vacuum gauge on the dash, for tuning/ and keeping an eye on over all engine vitals. My question is, will I get the same vacuum reading from the manifold vacuum port on the carb, as the port used for power brake booster?
The booster port us obviously at the back of the manifold , will it give me a reading influenced more by the rear cylinders or is it not effected that way ?

Perfect ! That just made the hose routing a lot easier !
