Somebody's gotta figure out a cupholder solution for these cars.  I had an idea but I dont want to hack my console.  Glad you got your car out and about Lloyd...

You need the plastic holders that fit down into the window channel!

Not elegant, but 3m-taped a couple parts store generic cup holders to the floor of the console towards the front for more ease of access.

You have to have the console open for them to work, but the same was true for the cupholders inside the console of my old Stealth twin turbo I had years ago. Of course the upside to that is they are hidden with the console closed. And they do actually work for holding coffee.

Pretty sure these are the ones:

Nice.  Now, does your console lid stay propped open?  I took my console lid off and replaced it with a 66/67 console armrest so I dont recall.  Pics of the Stealth too, if you dont mind, please...

Hope the picture shows up ok.  Also need to do a deep cleaning of that poor car.

The console lid still closes when there are no coffee cups in them. And stays open on its own, once opened. So it does work.

Old pics of the Stealth attached. Surprisingly not too many pics to choose from, even though I owned it for years. No pics of the cupholders in the console....

I loved them too, but they were ahead of their time in complication. Electronically controlled suspension and exhaust, 4 wheel steering, twin turbos, dual overhead cams. And automatic climate control and steering wheel audio controls, in 1992!

And in the one picture, you can see my old Gen 3 Viper I had, at the same time. One day I drove the Viper, parked it, then drove the Stealth. The Stealth felt like it was broken in comparison. So slow, lol. So I sold it not long after that. Apparently the guy I sold it to blew the engine a couple months later...
