68 Charger Rocker Molding and Clips

My car originally came with rocker moldings and I am wanting to go back with them.  I am looking at AMD for the moldings and they have a set listed for sale but they list them as fitting 68-70 Charger along with 68-70 Coronet and Superbee.  I also notice that two different kinds of rocker molding retaining clips are listed.  One set is for a 68-70 Charger and is more expensive than the Coronet clips.  Why would a Charger need different retaining clips while using the same rocker molding as a Coronet?  Will this rocker molding work on a 68 Charger?  They are quite expensive so I just wanted to ask if anyone has used them and if they fit well before I order.

The Charger rocker trim is specific to that car.  The rocker trim to the other Dodge and Plymouth B-Bodies would not be correct for the Chargers.  Thus the clips for the Charger trim is specific to that trim and will not work with the other trim.

Thank you for the reply.  It is a little confusing how places like AMD and Classic Industries advertise the rocker trim.  They both list Coronet and Charger as being the same.  I am not too concerned with the trim being "correct," just as long as it will fit my car.

I bought a set from year one and they advertise  the same. Will fit 69-70 Charger Coronet and Super Bee.https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-b-body/rpm6870

I also bought the clips for the Charger only. Maybe the side of the clip the faces rocker panel on the Charger is molded differently???  That being said they did fit my 70 Charger.

I did extensive research here and on other sites and read some where the installation instructions and proper location of these moldings. But I can't seem to find it at this time.

The molding I bought look the same in all the pictures I've seen but you know they are not the same in one form or another since they are not NOS. Right?

Thanks for the replies.  That answers my question.  I will get the rocker panel clips for Charger only.  As long as they fit and cover up the holes in my rockers for the clips I will be happy.
