hey guys, thought it was time to show my restoration project,I imported a 1968 charger rt from colorado springs to the uk about 18 months ago.the car had lots of rust to say the least but at least 3 of the 4 frame rails were solid so not a bad start.was originally a yellow vinyl top car with manual brakes and steering, original motor and transmission long gone i do have a 73 steel crank 440 from a jensen that was quite low mileage and never been apart for the car.going to go triple black(same as the bullit car)but with the centerline wheels.already replaced the front rusty L/H frame rail/inner fender that i purchased from Bryan(vegas charger)on here.cut out all the rusty floors and stripped and painted the inside of the rails before floor install.still lots to do tho
I don't care what is is designed to do,I want to know what it can do.

Nice work! If you haven't already, don't forget to save the bolt on exhaust bracket on the old rear seat pan.

Looking good Ray! :2thumbs:

Thanks for sharing.

Yep that LH frame rail/inner fender looks familiar lol.

Sorry I haven't got the front section part we've discussed out yet. I'm still getting at it if you're still needing it. I see that you have other tasks to keep you busy until you get it lol.

Good work.
I also have a rusty 68 440 R/T in the uk.
Is it the drivers front frame rail that is rusty on yours?
Looks like it is from the pics.
I have one that I bought for mine just in case I needed it.
Not 100% sure yet if I need it.
If turns out that I don't I'll let you know!
