This is just too priceless of a pic - does anyone know if they can go check on this.....

location Oregon - originally posted by "arrowmntdiesel" on the IsuzuPup.com forum. Any chance he is on this board and can look into this one more?

Great find nevertheless

bull

It's on the west side of Oregon somewhere, I can tell from all the blackberries. Do you have any idea of a more exact location?

Crazy Larry

It looks like the gents name is Mark A. Martin - but there is no specific location listed on his profile......

Here is where he has the pics hosted....
http://www.isuzupup.com/g2/v/kb-z/arrowmntdiesel_001/?g2_page=3

and here is the original thread where the Charger in the bushes is discussed (at the end).....

If you want to register with the forum and give him a PM - maybe he'll let you know the exact location.
From what it looks like (his comments), he doesn't know much about the car and just came across it.

Charger_Fan

Maybe that's all there actually is...just a rear clip stuffed in the bushes. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I would imagine that there are a lot of blackberry-eating critters who call that R/T their home...how cute...- dm

rare69

anybody smart enough to notice it had an R/T badge back there, pulled it out of the brush and did something with it. :yesnod:

Crazy Larry

yeah, but I am REALLY curious to see the rest of the vehicle.

69charger2002

could be a hemi car.   :o
yeah i agree though SOMEONE knew enough to look for the R/T elblem placement. let's assume they are not total idiots...

I'm sure the thing is totally rotted to the ground. You can't leave a 37-year-old car outside in northwest Oregon for very long and expect the metal to remain intact, let alone leave it stuffed inside a huge blackberry tangle. Of course it probably only took three years of neglect for the bush to grow that big. If you don't spray every little leaf with vine killer every summer you end up with a huge mess in no time at all. I fight the friggin' things every year in my own back yard. :flame:

tail panel and top of quarter still look good.. for what it's worth

I think that car was from that one lot I had posted about awhile back. There was a website supposedly "selling" these cars some buried until a foot of pine needles and a couple others buried under bushes like that. Can't remember the site name though.

Looks like the guy who took the pictures is trying to keep a lid on it. Here's his last relative post on that thread:

I guess my secret is really out now! Jack did you clean up my mess I made on my post? Thanks! You saw exactlly what I was trying to accomplish. I guess I got over excited and posted these pics. My intention was to send them to David Freiberger @ Hot Rod and tell him I had a rare find and a big project for him. I know how much of a Mopar Nut he is, I wonder how long it will take now before he ends up with a shot of this in his magazine. This same berry patch has a '68 Mercury Cyclone in it also. I have a picture of the nose of it also. I'll never tell!   Mark

Typical Charger Amateur in my opinion.

If I found something like that and KNEW I had no means of getting it out or restoring it, I would put it out there so someone could restore or at least resurrect it from the hell that it is in now.

This guy probably will let it rot a few more years and then forget about it where it will become an urban legend for another score of years and eventually the car will be beyond repair - if it isn't already.

He's no different then the guy with the RT next to his barn and chasing car collectors off his property screaming "IT'S NOT FOR SALE, I'M GONNA RESTORE HER!"

The guy never got back to me about it. But, on the plus side, I'm now a member of the Isuzu P'up message board. :icon_smile_blackeye: :icon_smile_dead: Maybe I'll post a picture of my Dakota and pretent I think it's an Isuzu.
