If you have some time, this link is quite interesting.

These folks say that the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States were....well, you decide.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

I couldn't get a lock on that link. We are on a satellite type set up here at work so sometimes it does not work. Although, I can sense what the link will be about. lot's of theories and conspiracy scenarios and thoughts have been floating around for awhile. I guess the closes-ts to the real truth has to be the report from the 911 commission. I just believe that we were just caught with our pants down/sleeping at the wheel. I've read articles where several FBI agents had a pretty good sense and idea of what was going to unfold. With the considerable amount of chatter days before to 911, they were sure something was on the works, but were ignored or given lip service by the higher management at the FBI. It's like a rattle snake rattling away just before the strike and people in the business of our security, ignored it!

Prior to 911, we were all living in this "bubble" thinking no one would ever inflict an attack on us in our own backyards - guess what, it was a rude awakening of what these fanatics are willing to do and it will not stop until the radical clergy that are teaching hate to these third world country youths stops. These clergy have hijack the religion of Islam for their own agenda of hate. I also blame those countries/goverments that allow these radical views to spread like wild fire against the west.

Not to drift into a political topic, cause we all know that this site is not the right venue for it, but perhaps we should review our foreign policy
and find out why the heck do these people hate us so much. It's has to be more than the "have and not have" issue. People that are willing to die just to take you out is serious and scary business. We have an enemy that cannot lose, love death as stated by them many times and will not stop until all, that they deem infidel are gone!

I've seen that film before, and it definitely brings up some very interesting points.

Especially the theory about the cruise missle and the Pentagon.

But, in the end, I have to agree with you in saying I just don't know what to believe anymore.

I can't convince my POS work confuzer to play that for me, but it's sounding like one I saw a while ago...something about the twin towers being brought down by explosives instead of two airplanes. ::)

I guess that theory can go in the same file as "the 3rd gunman on the grassy knoll".  Actually, I think the 3rd gunman thing holds more water than this twin towers theory does.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

yeah, i saw it on the tv ...toooooo many times, that is most definitely an airplane(x2)!!!

There are interesting points made, but there are a few flaws in the theory. If it were planned, why would the initial government reports vary? One would think that all of those items would have been pre-planned as well. Then to say that the passengers that supposedly lived are still alive, but somehow are silenced and kept out of the public eye for so many years is not realistic. I mean, 200+ people who had nothing to do with the planning and had nothing to gain (they lose freedoms and maybe even contact with their familes) are able to keep the secret this long? It doesn't seem realistic.

As for the eyewitness accounts not matching the reports, single accounts are not reliable. This is why in any crime investigation of any size accounts have to be taken from several sources and the larger picture is assembled from the common threads in their stories along with the evidence.

I think the only accurate thing about that film is the date, the third gunman JFK theory holds alot more water.

I'd rather not waste my time watching garbage such as that.  I'm sure it's like the other conspiracy theory internet things I watched a while back.  Idiotic.  Unworthy of even the effort it would take to click on the link.  I've got better things to do with my time.

Actually, I think that's probably the most well-done 9/11 conspiracy attacks I've seen.  I've seen a few others that build their whole case around over-analyzing one stupid liitle grainy image or something, but this guy actually tried to put together a story of the whole thing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We can believe all the theories or ridicule them, but they're not gonna go away.  The rest of the world can see this stuff too.  And the rest of the world doesn't start off with any of the built-in American patriotism that most of us do.

I don't expect the American public to ever come to anything like a conclusion about 9/11, though.  (Heck, we still disagree about whether Oswald's bullet killed JFK, and that was 40 years ago.)

Doesn't matter what the evidence is.  When it comes to potential conspiracies, there's always a percentage of the public who insist on believing either everything or nothing of the official story.  We'll still be debating whether 9/11 was a conspiracy decades from now.

look up conspiracy in the dictionary, there is no debating that one as far as 9/11 goes.

I just mean that the public will never stop debating whether 9/11 was a real terrorist attack or a "self-inflicted wound."

It's right on schedule.  Just like JFK, Oklahoma City, etc.
It seems like most of these big controversial incidents run reasonably unquestioned for about the first 3-5 years.  Then in the time about 5-10 years after the event, the public opinion begins to shift.  People are open to hearing the conspiracy theories much more than they were during the first few years.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Was 9/11 really all a big scam by the U.S. gov't?

Hell, I don't know.

Honestly, I really don't WANT  to have to believe it was a scam.  I'm curious about the subject, but in a way I actually kinda dread finding out something that would demand me to think 9/11 was really a huge scam.

It would just be so evil . . .
I know the gov't is messed up and corrupt, but I just don't like walking around thinking of the world as being THAT  bad.  I just don't want so much of my faith in gov't and human nature destroyed.
