second gen. new quarter ??????

  If you look at the  "C" pillar from the side at the back side of the quarter glass there is a bracket welded to the C pillar that supports the quarter skin. Does this bracket come on the new quarter or does it need to be transferred to the new quarter before installing it ? I ask because it looks to be a problem fitting the quarter to the rear deck panel and over that bracket at the same time ? thanks.
