I am looking into putting in a 4 speed trans in my 74 charger that originally had a 904 in it. Does anyone have a any recommendations on running a hydraulic setup? I have looking into doing the swap with all the correct oem parts but that appears like it will get expensive quickly hope that doing a hydraulic retro fit setup will help keep cost down.

Thanks,
Trevor

You can either purchase a complete hydro set up from someone like Brewers / Passion or piece your own together - I ended up using a McLeod throw out bearing with a slave cylinder I fabbed a bracket for it and mounted it where the stock pushrod went - works well for me

Rolling Thunder, do you have any pictures of your setup?  I went from an auto to a Tremec 600 with hydraulic clutch and trying to figure out where to mount it.

Here's a couple of pics of my TKO600 slave installation. It pulls the throw out fork from behind rather than pushing it from the front.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Nice, but that looks awfully close to the exhaust pipe for my comfort or did you wrap the one or both after taking pics?

I have the hydraulic bearing for mine so no clutch fork.
