Last summer I was cruising through a small town and located a 69 Charger sitting in a guys front yard, it is an r/t and was sitting under a tree where the engine had been pulled. I stopped knocked on the door to ask about the car an nobody was around. The other day almost a year later someone I knew was watching the news and described this same charger in a front yard of where a murder took place. This is too wierd. I would like to pursue the car but I don't want to seem cold about this situation. My fear is what could happen to this car now. What would you guys do?

Maybe the person that got murdered was asking if the car was for sale and the owner finally snapped.   :icon_smile_big:

Opportuniy....Opportunity..Don't let it get away! You didn't commit the muder. There's no reason to feel guilty.

Go and ask, they may never sell the car because the car is a reminder of the dead person. If they can't stand the car its gone by now I would think.

one of my professor's in college bought his dead friends chevelle SS from his parents, they felt good knowing that it was still loved and cherished by his best friend.

So, a little understanding would really help, let them know you are not junking or thrashing their loved one's car.
