Good aftermarket speakers that fit in '68 Charger 3 speaker dash?

I am looking for good (sound quality/power handling, not originality) speakers that fit in the 3 speaker holes in the dash.  Are there any?  I bought a pair of JL Audio 3.5" speakers and they are way too big, I think even with a little cutting, which I don't mind as long as it is not visible from the outside of the dash.

Contact Greg Ward in Huntsville, AL at 256-852-0955.  He is the go to person for radio restorations.  I know that he has a preferred speaker and get his suggestion.
