Topcatswiskers got the closer repro available for them

I think Dixie restoration parts ( member here ) is a seller for that brand. I got them from manufacturer long time ago though. Had to wait because they were out of stock for material to make the rear outers., but finally got them

Do you only need the quarter glass inners and outers?  If the door felts have been replaced, the reproductions may not match up 100% with what you may have on the car.  We can provide from one piece to a whole kit.  If any questions, drop me a message.

I have got the topcatwiskers set and chrome lining will match with stock ones. Just rubber felt is SLIGHTLY dif, barelly noticeable when mounted ( front is diff from rear anyway on originals ). He is converting an SE into a Hardtop, hence the reason why is requesting just rear outers

however I'm agree would get a full set ( outers at least ). I don't think 40 YO weatherstrip on a car is a keeper.

I have been involved with the development of the Top Cat felts for over 28 years now and my concern was that if you compare the Top Cat felts to say a First Place Auto Parts felts, then you possibly may see a difference between the two brands as for as materials used. Over the past forty years, these cars have worked on and unless you know the history from day one, we never know what may have been changed through the years and what may be on the car now.  This is even more apparent with some of the lesser quality felts on the market.
The Top Cat felts are the closest to the OEM felts that you will find.  We do occasionally have someone doing a survivor car or a very original car and may only need a driver outer.  That is why we will supply the needed piece at a slight price increase over a price of a complete kit.

oh of course! I'm sure and aware about the diff manufacturer differences! I got once, maybe back in 2004-6 the ones being sold by YR1 stated as a PREMIUM set, and I think ( aside the plastic panels by Accuform and Palco which are by far THE WORST ) they are the worst US$ I have spent on a mentioned as "premium" piece.

well I was a Newbie back then

@69bfan:
Hello. Of course I would prefer a whole kit. Could you maybe send me a quote?
And pictures what parts you suggest.
my email-adress is:

axl@stagepirates.de

Greetings

@Nacho-RT74:
I would take all parts you suggest. I takes so much time to get all the parts together. So I rather buy more than I really need than spending again weeks looking for the right parts.

It would be a great help, if you could send me pictures of the parts and where they belong. Especially the names of the parts are not common to me, so I ofthen don't know what parts you mean.

on this specific item, just get a full glass weathertrip set. Dunno if Classic industries carries these from Top Cat Wiskers brand which in several owners opinion is the best repro for these. If not, I'm pretty sure Dixie restoration parts have those too ?

they use to be sold in 4, 8 and 10 pieces set.
4 pieces are just outer pieces
8 pieces are inner ( the ones to interior panels ) and outer pieces
10 pieces sets are same as above but including th Sail panels ( C pillar interior panel ) pieces.
