Will a SB 727 or A518 bolt up to an old style 318 in a 65 Coronet?

Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

There is one 7/16" hole - the lowest on the driver's side, that does not match up.  If you can get a drill in there, square and plumb, you could drill it and tap for 7/16".
Mopar forever!

How old of a 318? A Poly 318? I thought some of the early engines had a different crankshaft flange at the back that stuck out more....Maybe that was just the B/RB blocks?

Like Bronzedodge said, on the '62-'67 Poly, the two bolts below the locating dowels are the same distance center-to-center on driver and passenger side.

On the LA motor, the passenger side bolt is in the same place, but the driver side bolt is located halfway between the Poly location and the dowel.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
