.000 distance below deck

Some stroker kits have 0 below deck. This means your piston would touch the head if you didn't have a head gasket, correct? Am I missing something or if you get any wear at all wouldn't you get piston slap?

yes that would be perfect with a .039 thick head gasket. but you wont know till you mock up the short block & measure everything, & then deck the block, mine has .052 head gaskets, because my piston is .015 above deck after decking the block.
