Are PUI and Top Cat window felts made by the same?

I ordered my 70RR window cat whiskers window felts from Dantes yesterday but I noticed the part number   970474 on a google search comes up as PUI and Top Cat brands.  Ebay is the same way.  PUI is a good bit cheaper.  Anybody know why they use the same number or is Top Cat put out by PUI? I also was informed that Dodge and Plymouth are different in somehow but I thought all B-Bodies were the same minus the Charger doors felts because of the pad.  What's the story here?

PUI carries most of of the Top Cat window felts.  The felts for the post or sedan 68 to 70 B-Bodies are the same, no difference between the Dodge and Plymouth as the doors will inter change.  Comparing the felts between the sedans and hardtops, there is a considerable difference in the two in the appearance of the material.  You could put the post felts onto the doors of a hardtop, even though they would not be correct.  The difference between the Dodge and Plymouth is in the length of the quarter glass felts.  The felt for the Dodge is a bit longer than the Plymouth quarter glass felt.

From what I know... Top Cat fits like factory originals.
I'm sure forum member 69bfan will pitch in if he sees this topic.

Edit, he was replying the same time as me.

Dixie restorations had told me the 70 Plymouth HT was different from Dodge.  If the Dodge are longer, is that why my RR had to have the short felt plugs ordered for the door ends where the cat whiskers ended?

No, the difference is actually in the length of the window felt as where it attaches to the quarter panel and upper inner door frame.  The door end plug is simply a decorative or finish piece as to where the end of the upper door frame matches up to the end of the window felt for the B-Bodies.  This plug is only used on the 68 to 70 B-Bodies and was not used on the convertibles.  Most people do not even know that they were used and you will see restored cars missing this little detail item.  Just drop me a message if you have any other questions regarding these areas of the restoration.
