Hi guys,  does anyone know (our could i perhaps trouble someone to measure on their 68 or 69) how far a stock tie rod end travels from full lock left to full lock right?  I've got a 68 that's got no suspension in it at all and I'm toying with the idea of a power rack conversion. I've got a donor rack the external dimensions of which are a perfect match to stock but i forgot to measure how far the tie rods move, or the "throw", that the stock system had before I pulled all the front end out. Hence i can't compare the potential rack turning circle to stock turning circle.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks,

Dan

there is no rack that can mount in the stock location & have the correct turning radius, you have to shorten the arm on the lower balljoint .
