A friend sent this to me yesterday. I'm really interested to see what this will get.
It will make me wonder how much my real original 440 RT BENGAL Charger could be worth???

I thought the Bengal cars had a striped vinyl top. Am I remembering it wrong?

Very nice.....but I would like little more attention to detail on a tribute car (says the man with a car that 99% incorrect....but not claiming to be otherwise!!)...... uneven trunk and hood side gaps and what look to my eye to be very big door/fender shut lines. My ones are much tighter than that......hell any bigger and you would not need to open the door to get in!

I grew up just north of Cincinnati and a guy that lived near me had an original Bengal Charger he bought new from Tom Kneer Dodge. It was an original 383 car, last I saw it was in the late 80's, still nearly perfect at that time.

 I will throw my  in with my pet peeve. The inside lower door painted body color in instead of interior color. I see this mistake often.

I see it went to $44K, reserve not met.

To me the car looked pretty nice & is a real R/T #'s matching if I remember right. I'm surprised it did not get more considering the phoney fake R/T's that are really perfume on a pig 318 garbage I see sometimes get more   LEON.

'66-'67s also had Upper Door Frame colors specifically matched to the interior - independent of the exterior color

Here are a couple of pictures of my REAL 98% Original 68 BENGAL Charger 440 R/T I've owned for 40 years.
Yes, the lower doors should be black. No, no orange striped vinyl top - all black.
