Expensive garage art.

On a side note, back around 1985 years ago, I acquired a NOS hemi block cast in 1974.

oh right 74 casting  , was it a street hemi block ?   I've long since lost saved info & pictures , think 74 or 75  was the last year Chrysler was casting iron 426 hemi blocks ... think there were  2 or maybe  three variants    ,  one being a fuel block or for a blower ,  it was still a water block I believe .   think it had a shorter deck height , don't quote me on this  ,  could be getting mixed up with something else , I await to be corrected  :yesnod:  :2thumbs:

I believe it belonged to a collector in the UK , by the name of Carlos  with a itallian sounding second name  , same guy who owned a black hemi Daytona  ,  that's mentioned in a recent  thread  , he also had a white 69 C500 hemi charger , pretty sure an original FM3 duster / demon too  ,    think he has or had a few other mopars  ,

I a wait to be corrected   :yesnod:  :popcrn:

I sold the GTX to a guy in CA who in turn sold it to Otis Chandler. From there it went to England and eventually found its way back here. MacLean has been trying to sell it for at least 6 years. It's still wearing the same paint job I had put on it in 1986 & I'm sure that it needs to be freshened up.
