Mistery about Bilstein shocks

FF offers them, But I can't find ANYWHERE ANYTHING about Part Numbers or application. Not even at Bilstein website!!!. Just have found the RCD "code" or model at FF website

does somebody knows where to find PNs for our application ? pre 72 and post 73

If you know the length and travel then you can just find one of their shocks with the right specs. That's likely what FF did. I don't think Bilstein makes a comprehensive list of every possible car their stuff could fit. I had the same issue with my truck. Everyone seemed to be running Bilsteins but there wasn't a cross reference that had my truck listed. And then, if you lift a truck you need different shocks any way so the solution is to dig through the catalog looking for your new specs.

This is the key here. These are not off the shelf, bolt in Bilsteins but are Bilstein components run through RCD for assembly and valving. Similar to the XV Level 1 shock which is actually an Afco unit that XV revalves and pressurizes specific to their application.

If you have extended length, compressed length, upper and lower mounting styles, spring rates, and car weights, you can spec out any shock you want with any manufacturer around the world.

I have read and reread this thread and do not completely understand the nuances of the discussion.

I see Firmfeel sells the RCD shocks and understand these are RCD shocks with Bilstein components.  

I also see the RO82 etc shocks at places like:

Are the Bilstein shocks from PST the same or different from those of firmfeel?  

IF different, which ones are the ones to use?  And why.

and there they also say RCD.  So I am guessing both are the same.

They are the same. They can even make you a shortened version if your car is lowered.
