Who else felt the earthquake this morning ?

The one centered in Oklahoma.

I was sitting in my recliner this morning and I felt it shaking.

I thought the cat was sitting on the back of the chair and scratching herself.

Turned my head to look...

No cat.

Recliner still shaking...

I looked at my water bottle sitting on the table next to me...water is moving.

Hmmm...

So, I yell to the bride of many decades "Where's the cat ?"

She replies "Back here in the bedroom by me"

Hmmmm....

Wait a second...

Ok...it's over.


I don't think anything more about it.

Later today the news says there was a quake in Oklahoma...

I'm in southern Illinois... 

So who else felt it and where are you ?

It woke me up this morning. I live about 75 miles from the epicenter. One of the most intense earthquakes I've ever experienced.

I live in SW Arkansas but I was in the air flying yesterday when it happened. Kinda sucks cause I've never experienced an earthquake before. Oh well... I'm sure I'll experience one someday.

I slept straight through it in Australia, didn't feel a thing



Having lived through the epicenter of the Loma Prieta earthquake of 89', it was a monster I hope nobody has to experience.

Was felt here in Wisconsin. And they said it took 3 minutes for the shock waves to get here.
