So, i have this 74 Charger and I'm looking to replace, or repair the driver side front frame rail because of rust damage. I've been looking for a new Rail for quite some time, but cant seem to find a frame rail for a 74 b-body. :brickwall: Its a pain because the rest of the project is on hold until the Rail is fixed or replaced.

Does any on know where i can get a replacement rail for a 73 or 74 B-body, or if capping the frame with 1/8th cold rolled steel will do.

Ill get pictures soon as possible Thank you!

AFAIK nobody makes a new rail for that.  Look used.  Honestly I wouldn't think it would be that hard to find because those cars aren't the most valuable.

1/8th is too thick for patching that area IMO.  That would be almost double the thickness of the original rail.

What's your location?  Maybe someone on here is close by with one available.

There guys products are fantastic

They are made to order so if you don't see it, call them.  They are very helpful.
