1968 Charger R/T Exhaust Manifold

I am looking to put original/reproduction exhaust manifolds on my 1968 Charger R/T with 440 v8. Does anyone have any suggestion of the best place to get these?

No, if you're going from headers you will need the proper manifold bolt / nut hardware though. See my 'Bee resto thread to see installed manifolds.

Not necessary to pull engine to install stock manifolds, but you may end up taking a cutting torch to the headers to get them out of there. And as mentioned you'll need some specialized hardware for the installation of the manifolds.

If you think those gaskets are under 200 bucks, buying those manifolds at Megaparts is quite a bit cheaper, 50 bucks for the hardware from them too:

That set sounds like a nice one but over priced in my opinion. Years ago I purchased quite a few parts from Year One but not any more. Do a little more homework and you'll probably find a better deal. Keep in mind, the factory didn't use gaskets between the manifolds and the heads back then. I never have either. Good luck.
