I have a question...

why Bendix caliper diagrams show "positioners" and antirattle spring assembly, and Kelsey hayes not? both works exactly the same.

I bought long time ago these positioners and the spring kit, and found later these don't fit ( not correctly at least ) on my kelsey hayes calipers

Your using my pictures from another forum, but that's ok by me, as what's on the internet is fair game.

Your confused as to the manafacturer of calipers.
BENDIX calipers are used on the 66-69 B body line of cars, and are a 4 piston design.
Kelsey Hayes calipers are single piston.
There were a few different casting designs for the single piston calipers throughout the years, for different body styles.
My picture that your using is calipers that the 70  and early 71 B & E body cars used, and is known as the "wide mouth" design.
Your caliper is a 73 and up, B body design.

Ma Mopar did away with those "positioners" on later year calipers, as it was determined that they really didn't do any good anyway.
So i would think not used on 73 up, B body calipers.
