1968 Dodge Charger.
I removed my Brake Booster years ago.  Even though I took Pictures, I am not sure how to re-assemble it.
I am not sure how I managed to get bolt #4 out that goes through the pedal linkage clevis and the Booster shaft .
I know I remover Bolts #1 and #2 first and  the spring pulled everything into a twisted assembly.   I still don't know how the bolt came out as it bumps into a bracket before it comes out.

I got a new Booster.

I managed to pull on the spring and linkage and install bolts #1 and #2, to get a better perspective of what I am looking at.
Other than do the almost impossible task of removing the spring and possibly other bolts, I am at a loss.
When installing the Booster, How do you get Bolt #4 in??? .  Is there a sequence?
Thank you
John

OK
I Figured it Out
In these next 2 pictures, does the notch face UP or DOWN??
It looks like it doesn't matter.
I vote for DOWN!
Thank You
John

That bolt was supposed to be in before the booster went back into the firewall.

Should be pulling spring off, taking bolts 1 & 2 out, then pull booster from firewall with the lever setup attached to the booster input push rod. move lever setup to new booster and reverse for install.

That is exactly how I did the assembly.  But, I figured it out after I disconnected the spring!

*** - when pulled apart, years ago, I some how separated the linkage from the booster to get the booster off.
The linkage was left dangling from the spring. I don't know I did it - looks impossible as I look at it now.

After that, it was easy.  Thank you, now I know I did it right.
Also, I put the notch in correctly, by accident.
I didn't tighten anything, just in case I was wrong!
