Getting ready to rebuild my 727 transmission on my 73 but I bought this at a swap meet and the guy said it was correct for my car but before getting it rebuilt, does anyone have the casting# or someway to ID the correct transmission. 15 years of buying stuff now it's time to put it together and hope it works

Look on the drivers side pan rail just above the pan gasket, the part number will be stamped there (Usually begins with PK)...post the numbers here.
