 Correct me if I am wrong but isn't car is a car on fire no compromise meaning making it weak?
i am a fair person and up frount person and try to help if i can. i love my mopars thats. all i ever owned first car was my 69 charger at the age of 15.

Scrap steel is going for 2 1/2 cents - 4 cents per pound. At roughly 3,000 lbs, and 3 cents per pound, it';s worth about 90 bucks US.  I had no idea that there was that big of a spread between the US & Canadian dollar.   :shruggy:

Initially thought that too, but then noticed the snow. I know they had some snow in Calgary in the middle of May, but those pics look like they are in winter... dunno...

With the way most salvage auctions are set-up such as Copart and IAAI, the actual cash value they list as mentioned above is the approx. price the car was insured for. This '68 has been up for auction for months now, long before the Fort McMurray fires so it's not a victim of that one. I do have a friend who lives in Fort McMurray and lost a Valiant drag car project though.
