I just had Steer and Gear rebuild my power steering box. I don't want to reuse my old fittings. Anyone know the sizes of both the pressure and return fittings and where to get them?  It's on a 72 SE.

I believe the box is 1/2"x20 threads, but the other side of the fitting is either 1/4" or 5/16" flare depending on what pump you have. The federal and thompson pumps use the 1/4" while the saginaw pump uses the 5/16". Someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this. Not sure what the return fitting is. In my opinion there is no reason to replace them unless they are damaged, but if you are doing it just for peace of mind, then by all means, go for it
