Got this from a '70's muscle car group on Facebook. Sure, this was the '70's, but still over the top for my taste  :P

Poor car. I bet every time it's out on the road it just wants to slam into a bridge support and end it all! Lol.

Much better than the crap that so called "Builders" do to 2nd gen Charger these days.

Paint schemes and paint murals were big back in the 70s.

Not on this website.   There's a specific way to do your car up or it will be looked down upon, no matter how much time or money or love you put into it.  Sad but true, some of Mopar's worst enemies are its owners...

:iagree: <MYK is right and I agree.

I don't like a lot of the custom Charger's or other cars in general you see that this generation is doing. But that said, IF all cars had to be completely stock, all cars would be boring to look at. Honstly, I wish some people would start restoring cars to a point like they were back in the '70's & '80's like they are doing with old vans now. I never liked the huge hood scoops, but it is better then some of the stuff people like now in MY opinion. But a saved classic car is still better then one left to rot in someone's back yard or the woods. I forget who said that to me on this site once, but I realized they are correct, and it made me see things differently. Although, I still will tell you if I like it or not. But in the end, it is your car, not mine. Do what you want.

Looked down upon...well... at least they are still looking at it and maybe talking about it :2thumbs:. Come to think of it, back in the 70's and 80's GM people looked down on my Charger also, jealous, I doubt it very much, I think I just got under their skin, it made for great street racing though.
 Here's to Factory correct, modified in the garage, backyard and on the street, there's a place for every one of these cars here. Don't chase them away.
