Ok so I've been feverishly working on my 70 and today I took it out for kind of of it's first decent drive to make sure it doesn't overheat etc...

After about 20 minutes I noticed the engine sort of change in gear (727) when stopped.

Instead of being very smooth like it was at the start. It sort of started chug-chug chug and shaking the car.

No power brakes, temp looked good...only happens at idle in gear. After a pretty good warm up.   :shruggy:

Never mind- turns out my number 8 plug wire  decided to disconnect itself from Mr. Autolite.  der...    :silly:

Yeah- a bit embarrassing, but I figured I'd fess up to help out other sub-humans.   :icon_smile_big:

I had some kind of Japanese sport car trying to run me down today. I guess I pulled away on just 7 cylinders. Still 3 more than he had.    :icon_smile_big:
