Kind of like the 5 pc dash bezel set that I just bought for a 1/4 the total cost that my father bought my '69 Bee for new off the show room floor. :eek2:

If you need it, they know you'll spend it. There isn't much other option out there, like Legendary's $500 US Dash pad... only one that's correct (or so I hope, because the $300 one was junk!)

Let' not forget to move the decimal point one place to the left when comparing today's money to 1969 money. :slap:

We will never feel like prices are low. (even if they are).  Our sense of the value of the dollar get's stuck in our minds from some place in the past.

I have to do the math myself all the time and stuff still feels expensive. :shruggy:

OK--so I looked it up--- $6.66 today is the same as $1.00 in 1969.

$639.98 today would  be $96 in 1969. ---$24 ea for those trim rings in 1969.---

I hope someone will correct me on this (if needed) cause I don't do this math (even basic) stuff much anymore. It kinda hurts. :eek2:
