Im sitting thinking about how to construct my custom shift linkage for my 727.....since i don't have it with me at the house.....my question is....is the shifter mech on the tranny all the way foward or all the way back to be in "Park".....thanks guys!

383   69.......i found it..... the shift lever all the way back towards the tail shaft is Park

I converted my stock shifter to cable .

1 threaded rod with heim joints on each end....1 on the shifter lever....1 on the trans mech.....easy peasy!
