Best shocks for 73-74 Charger ??

Bilsteins are the best shock for the price but still run over $100 per.  I recently mounted a set of Napa Sensa-trac on the rear and love them!  About 1/2 the price of Bilsteins.  http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,122249.msg1519755/topicseen.html#msg1519755

Thats a loaded question. Best shocks for what application? Cruiser, show car, drag racer? 3 different apps that i could give 3 drasticly different answers to.

What is the rest of your suspension comprised of? Frame connectors? Auto or stick? What tires are on it?

Considering connectors. auto. 15x8, all around.  255 to 275 60 series, all around.

Hmm, sounds pretty much like stock suspension and regular radials. So now matter what shocks you put on it, its gonna spin. If you goal is 99% street driving and you don't plan on upgrading the suspension and chassis, then i would stick with the standard hd style shock. Bilsteins would be a bit overkill on stock chassis, but would help.

73-74's are limited on the front to twin tube(Monroematic) Lots of choices for the rear. I have KYB Gas Adjusts ( modified LCA's to use Monty Carlo shocks). Dampen well , but a little harsh especially after I installed 18" wheels. Bilsteins are on my list.
