Any place to look up t-bar and leaf spring rates between the various trim levels?

If not - what are the t-bar diameters for the 3?

Looking at 318-340-360 engine sizes.

thanks-

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

All small blocks got the same stock springs, unless ordered specific, and .92" t-bars.  Laura at www.espo.com can help you out with the springs.   :2thumbs:

So the Rallye package didn't have a 'beefier' suspension, compared to a base coupe, as part of the package?

One would have to order heavy duty...        Interesting, never knew that.

HD springs (440/Hemi) with a big block was the beefier suspension.

Another question - What's the diameter of the stock front and rear sway bars on a 73-74 Rallye Charger?

rear sway bar was the same for any block... can't tell the size.

front changed according with Block. As far I recall.. 7/8 to SB and 15/16 to BB

more about rear suspension than front ( more or less leafs ) but that was in all HiPo packages all years.

on earlier years then the front sway bar was added on HiPo cars

since 72, the front sway bar become more standard on basic cars, and rear the optional on "HiPo"... on earliers the rear sway bar didn't exist. 71/72 rear sway bars are pretty much weird.

Looking through  a dealer brochure, they show standard, heavy duty, and rallye suspensions as all separate items, but they don't give any specifics on differences between them all.

Looking through the MP Chassis book, they show 73-78 B body t-bar sizes of .92, .94, .96, and .98 as standard and optional sizes. I'd certainly guess HD, Rallye and  wagons used the larger sizes.

For leafs, I'm sure there are similar differences but I can't find much data on them. When looking at leafs, keep in mind they can be rated by free rate, check rate, and spring rates. Three separate ways to rate any set of leafs. I have seen a chart of these rates for  stock mopars, but can't remember where that might have been.

Not sure if this will help, but I have a specs book on my website.
