Thank you.  It's been a long process. I've had alot of help on here with information and rare parts.

Finished up the paint/clear, and assembled the first half of the grille.  Still need to get the frame back.  Then I can finish the entire assembly.  It turned out better than I thought.  Now all I need to do is find the drivers side plastic headlight bezel.

Finished up the grille.  Had the frame sand blasted and painted.  Didn't care to much for the quality of the grille hardware kit that you get from classic industries.  The plastic retainers are flimsy, and thin.  Overall, I think it turned out great.  Now I need to find a stainless steel headlight retainer ring, and the plastic bezel that goes around the drivers side headlights.

I think it looks beautiful.    :drool5:    :2thumbs:   those headlight bezels can be hard to find.  I think it's a 68 only deal.   Good luck.

I regret passing on a drivers bezel about 3 months back for 65 bucks. :brickwall:  Ran out of funds for the month back then.

What's going on with the funky alternator brackety setup?   :shruggy:

holanae

Its for the A/C application that I will eventually put on the car, but just not yet.  A/C was a nice to have, so it can wait.  I didn't want to waste the money on the non A/C bracket, just to replace it with the A/C brackets in a year.  I agree, it looks hideous, but it won't look bad when the a/c system is installed.
