I have the same green interior, but in worse shape, and it's not fun.  But I'd give $25K for that car all day long.  You just don't see them unmolested like that very often.  Besides, SEM color coat black is your friend!

 its prolly a 68 SPD  , headrests were optional , till January first 69 , then  standard equipment
think I can see black door handle buttons   normally denotes a 68 build too ,

Reminds me of my car when I got it (mine was not nearly as good shape though), green interior, 318... Maybe because I am now obsessed with body lines and fitment since Im diving into bodywork of my car, but does this area look funny? shouldn't it be more flush?

yes I saw that , straight away !   not sure if this is the case with this car !  but  can tell you , when I was doing the nut & bolt resto on mine  , the driver side quarter extension was damaged , plus a  had  stud broke off ,  after looking for a good used one  , saw a new repop in the yearone catalogue  ,  so I ordered one !  this was long before anyone heard of AMD  , prolly midish 90s  , well ! trying to fit the new repop  extension , to my original driver side rear quarter , was a total waste of time !  the repop part too small , it could be fitted two ways ,  first way , similar to  like whats in the picture ! second way   move it further out so its flush with the quarter , but then its about a 1/4 inch too short , to the edge of the quarter where it rolls in to the trunk gutter ,    total waste of time & money , so I repaired my original in the end ! should of done that in the first place , but was trying to save time

I have almost the same car, F5 green, green interior, except mine has a woodgrain shift knob, a green top. and my 318 is aqua blue, not red. must be a later build than this one

timmycharger: The end-cap does look a little funny but it might have been that ill-fitting from the factory.  It would be worth a closer look at that area to determine if it has been hit and repaired in that area.

Here is a quick picture of my end caps. They were original and undamaged when the Charger was torn down and now they are a perfect fit on both replaced AMD quarters! My body man was an artist! He painted the Charger also with single-stage acrylic enamel. Check out the crisp body lines on the AMD panel!

that's F8 done in basecoat/clearcoat, I would recognize it anywhere.....

i.e. its been repainted.
